Youngs (Young & Co.’s Brewery) is a British pub chain which was founded as a brewery in 1831 by Charles Young and Anthony Bainbridge. The epitome of British brewing and inn-keeping, the Youngs business encompasses hundreds of UK-wide pubs with unique character, independent management and of course, great food and drink offering.
Youngs and CardsSafe
The Youngs partnership with CardsSafe began already in April 2005 with the Founders Arms on Bankside, followed by the Marlborough in Richmond. Most managed outlets were added during 2008 and 2009. The Geronimo outlets were all fitted with the CardsSafe system after these were acquired by Youngs during 2015 and 2016.
How has CardsSafe helped Youngs?
To ensure seamless food and drink tabs across Youngs’ pubs and inns, CardsSafe was asked to install card units to ensure the secure holding of customers’ bank cards while they enjoyed the facilities. With card and identity fraud often a risk, and CardsSafe offering a solution to the problem, the partnership continues to provide security to customers giving peace of mind with every transaction.
